WHO WE ARE
Rival Motors is an independently owned and owner operated motor mechanical workshop.
We deal with servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics to all makes of vehicles.
With the rapid advancement in technology, our service has evolved from purely mechanical, to include the latest in electronic technology because vehicles today possess complex computer and electronic systems, that are often the primary cause of a lot of mechanical issues.

WHAT WE DO
SERVICES

We do major and minor services including oil change, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and full inspection and report.
TRANSMISSIONS
​
We do repairs and overhauling to manual and automatic transmissions including linkages, clutches, clutch cables and clutch hydraulics.
BRAKES
​
We do servicing, repairs and overhauling of brake systems including brake pads and discs, brake shoes and drums, hydroelectric cylinders and pipes.
SUSPENSION
​
We do repairs to the suspension including shocks, mountings, ball joints, bushes and links.
STEERING
​
We do repairs to the steering including pumps, steering racks and steering columns.
ENGINES
​
We do repairs and overhauling to engines including cylinder heads, subassemblies and complete engines.
DIAGNOSTICS
​
We use state of the art diagnostics equipment to identify electronic faults, clear fault codes, test vehicle electronics and reset service and inspection lights.

I just want to thank Ryan and the Rival Motors team, for a awesome job done on my VW Polo. Rival motors ran a diagnostic on my vehicle and obviously found the problem. It was not a easy part to get a hold of as there was a shortage of this part in SA.
However Ryan and Claire did not only manage to find the part, but also managed to get me one for almost half the price! There are not many honest professionals out there to try and save their clients money.
